Tony Windle

DVSA CBT and DAS Instructor

So welcome to your new adventure…
Okay where do I start……
I love bikes fact!!!!
So how did this love affair start with parents totally against bikes after a family member was lost far too young on a motorcycle.

So simple got a bike learnt my craft in a field, bikes are in my DNA.
Still remember the smell of the two stroke mx bike and that sense of freedom….
I love to help people and see people shine…..
Maybe why I joined the emergency services to make a difference.
So the love affair continued not only on bikes but cars also.
I am an ex emergency service car and motorcycle rider and passed more advanced exams than you can shake a stick at.

So why instructing????
To give you guys the immense satisfaction motorcycling has given me for two decades…
But above all else teach you to ride safely…
In a nutshell raced enduro bikes, mx bikes trail bikes, road bikes, Rospa advanced etc etc.

I enrolled on the Spring 2023 RJH 10 day Instructor Training Workshop with a group of lads and Instructor Rob (the boss)
Get booked in and enjoy the new journey it's amazing……
I have passed the 2 day Chadderton assessment and now looking forwards to DAS.

So four months later I attend Chaderton and pass the DVSA DAS Motorcycle instructor assessment in horrendous weather conditions. This has been a hard eight months. I have sacrificed many weekends to shadowing other instructors and evenings studying and learnt my trade as a DVSA CBT instructor. If you want a career change go for it but you have to be committed to succeed and pass some hard exams. ??Good Luck
